Dr. Heather Sweeney, Executive Director of the Gateway Foundation
Dr. Heather Sweeney approaches organizational strategy through the cultivation of relationships, which
are at the heart of such public-private partnerships as the stewardship of Citygarden. She has 15 years of
experience in fundraising, program management, leadership, and education.

Michelle Ohle, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP, Principal | Landscape Architect DTLS Landscape Architecture
A landscape architect and principal with DTLS Landscape Architecture, Michelle leads the practice’s practice’s business development and marketing efforts - she relishes making new connections and sharing landscape architecture with clients and collaborators. Upon entering university to pursue a degree in architecture, she quickly discovered that landscape architecture's diversity of project types and scales was a great fit for her skill set and interests. She loves the challenge of a blank page and excels at generating great ideas quickly. Her portfolio reflects the breadth and variety that drew her to the profession, with particular emphasis on artful and playful spaces in corporate, civic, and campus environments.
