In this Talk, local stop motion animation studio, Cafe LaBobo founders Ben Ellebracht and Fu Yang discuss their thought process around materials and how they ride the line between functionality and practicality when interacting with shape, color and light for stop motion animated films. They will use clips and behind-the-scenes work from three critically acclaimed projects from their catalogue of films.
